Imagine, just imagine if we all made an attitude adjustment and decided to stay positive no matter what... if we remembered we always have a choice, no matter what... wow, what that would do for the world, right? I taught my mom to be positive and she kisses and hugs me every day for it... I'd say that makes me a pretty lucky... and positive pup! Check me out at

Frankie, You are certainly a lucky pup.
Blessings and prayers, andrea
Frankie- I just found your page today and I am so excited! On May 17th, my dachshund, Mr. Famous started walking funny- we had just moved a week before and were scared b\c we didn't have our regular vet around. We took him to an emergency vet who said he was ok, just bruised. His walking got worse, and by Tuesday morning he had no use of his back legs. I was terrified when the vet we picked told me I needed to choose between $6000 surgery or putting him down. We couldn't afford the surgery, and putting him down was never an option. We looked around the internet, and found other dogs like you and knew Mr. F had a chance! We put him on strict crate rest for 8 weeks- only coming out for meals and the potty. During this time we began researching carts, but a miracle happened- after 8 weeks our Mr. F could walk again! He still needs help from time to time, and he can't jump anymore, but he can still get around. I said all this to say that Frankie is an inspiration and that even if Mr. F hadn't been as lucky as he was he'd still be here with us today!!
Oh, Mr. Famous, you had my mom in tears as she read your story to me... your mom did all the right things... crate rest, etc. Yes indeed, you are a miracle! And we couldn't be happier!! And don't ever fret, cause if you'd need wheels, they work pretty slick! Thank you for your wonderful note today... it made our day!!
Your friend,
Frankie
