Barbara Techel is the author of the multi-award winning Frankie, the Walk ‘N Roll Dog book series. When her dachshund, Frankie, suffered a spinal injury, Barbara had her custom-fitted for a wheelchair. Frankie persevered, and Barbara realized the beautiful opportunity she had to share Frankie and give others hope and inspiration to be the best they can be. Along with sharing Frankie’s story with children, Barbara and Frankie routinely volunteer as a therapy dog team at a local hospital, senior assisted facility, and hospice community, spreading joy wherever they go.

Frankie's Favorite Outfit

I am wondering what Frankie's favorite outfit is?
I would have to say my favorite outfit is my pink satin quilted heart jacket. It has white fuzzies around the collar and it makes me feel like a movie star. Oo-la-la! I debuted this outfit last February at my book launch for my book, "Frankie, the Walk 'N Roll Dog." Everyone oooed and ahhed when I made my entrance into the grand entrance at The Osthoff Resort. My friends mom, Victoria made special people cookies shaped like hearts to match my jacket. Each cookie had a paw print stamped in the middle. So, yup, paws down, this is my favorite outfit because it was one of my favorite days the day I got to wear it.

Dear Frankie...The grades 4's from Canada think your pink outfit is just
divine. You look like a "doggie diva". We loved your picture with Santa's elves. Hopefully you got lots of new outfits for Christmas!
